UNIVERSITAS INDONESIA

Gue seneng banget bisa kuliah di Universitas Indonesia, yang pastinya Universitas Depok, yang pastinya anak FIB hehehe. Banyak nilai plus yang gue dapat disini, dari banyak teman terutama dari jurusan, luar jurusan bahkan teman dari fakultas lain bisa didapatkan Universitas Indonesia Depok ini.

Perpustakaan Pusat Universitas Indonesia adalah sebuah sistem terintegrasi yang menawarkan akses komprehensif kepada induk yang mencakup batasan antar fakultas dan displin ilmu. Perpustakaan pusat adalah departemen penting dalam sentra administrasi universitas dimana perpustakaan-perpustakaan berkolaborasi pada ranah akuisisi maupun koleksi digital, teknologi informasi, preservasi dan high-density storage.

Untuk memfasilitasi koordinasi dan komunikasi, Perpustakaan Pusat UI menjadi fusi bagi semua perpustakaan fakultas. Layanannya mencakup layanan terpadu bagi semua mahasiswa UI. Pada 2007, koleksi Perpustakaan Pusat UI mencapai angka 1.500.000 buku. Adapun koleksi ini adalah koleksi komprehensif bila menimbang jumlah arsip dan dokumentasi yang dinaunginya. Perpustakaan Pusat UI adalah salah satu yang terbesar di Asia koleksinya.

Dengan didukung system informasi yang berbasiskan kepada teknologi informasi yaitu digital library online information system maka pengunjung dapat secara langsung mencari dan mengunduh koleksi-koleksi yang disediakan seperti: Koleksi Buku, Koleksi Majalah, Koleksi Non Buku, Koleksi Artikel Eletronik, Koleksi Book Elektronik serta karya yang dihasilkan segenap civitas academica dalam koleksi Universitas Indonesia.
